grieving of thee
life turns to dust,
grey to mush.
soul goes where else,
sallowed self.
turn in for bed,
'scape my dread.
self springs life,
ever bright.
newfound sprite,
gotten light.
soul can't choose,
strings so loose.
comfort not,
sorrily paup.
stare in fear,
oh quivery steer.
and learn to see,
tis only thee.
soon to free,
emotionly breeze.
the being of he,
no longer to breathe.
but keep in your eye,
you'll able to see.
and then will be friend,
and then you will see.
no need be for fear,
or sorrowful steer.
shall rise now an ox,
so living and dear.
now turn in for bed,
and rest thy sweet head.
no longer to dread,
no longer to fear.
for now understood,
for friend is still near.
